Nooooo... Not that T !

once a T gets old and unwearable or one is having an oversized T...
and don't know what to do with it...
we all know Biggies spells c-o-m-f-o-r-t! U wear them as pyjamas and snooze away.
But..but that T is still awesome for outings!
with a zap of creativity and a lil hand task, u are more than
ready to step outta house in style!
some pointers on how to turn that Tee into Tomorrow's Terrific outfit

Do what the Romans do!

Be it your daddy's superbly XXXL t-shirt or any random super large sized T,
use it to toga dress yourself up or slip it as a funky top pairing with tights.
Sash the awesome piece of garment using ribbons.
we just loveee playing with ribbons to get new look, don't you?
Ribbon does amazing ties!

Here's the few steps :

Flap Flap Overlap

always wanted to wear the oversized tee out but not wanting to look sloppy?
make it less baggy and more fitting!
easily pull the 2 sides of the T to the front and overlap it one over the other.
To make sure it stays in that position, pull a trendy belt over on the waist
then fold the sleeves to make it shorter and having a rugged look.
Finally hide the t-shirt's side stitches with a vest or cardigan.

Along the back lines

Here's a simple one with ribbons.
(soft textured ribbons recommended or else stiff ribbons may affect bow causing you to look like sailormoon)
Slip the ribbon through one end of the sleeves to the other.
Pull back the ribbons and knot it. Finally just tie it into a bow.
Looking chic and ready to knock the world down!

Fuddy-duddy

Layer it up that ordinary tee by pulling over a voguish top or a lacy dress. Fold both sleeves if too large. This combination gives the plain T a uniformly cute overall look. Better yet turn that common looking Round collared-T to a Square collared-T by forming it with safety pins. It is advisable that the pins used should camouflage with the color of the outfit. Having the confidence? Then there is no need to hide the pins. Pins be used as accessories as well!

Funk it up

Mix and Match it in easy steps. Pull over a biggie T-shirt and slip in ur desired summer tube dress! Yer all set to shine your style. Accessorize to create a more nifty look, may it be a high waisted belt, chunky jewelleries or head bands!

Freestyler

Loosen up and still be comfortably stylish just by wearing the large T. Grab the bottom end of the tee and pull it to whichever left/right side. Tie a basic knot then slip the ribbon in between the knot. Afterthat tie another knot and have the ribbon go round the waist. Make sure both sides of ribbon are the same length. Lastly tie the ribbon into a bow! phew... hope it's not too complicated!

hope these are useful and have fun experimenting!

lacking of updates due to CNY. we were being gluttons for that week! =D

S
carf me up!

why waste money on simple clothes?
Simply grab a scarf or cloth you owned off the rack and razzle dazzle with it
'till u find the fabulous folds, layers, knots and ties which finals out a ready-to-go outfit!
we encourage you to be yer own designer

Some roughed out ideas which maybe useful :

Hang or Tie?

Dig out a scarf of medium-large size range (eg.120x120cm and above).
Pull it over from the back to front. Take the upper two ends and crisscross it. Slip a beaded necklace or a pretty ribbon in between the crisscross and then give a secured knot to both ends.
Clasp the necklace or tie the ribbon into pretty bow.
The outcome? Looks as if it is hanging onto the necklace/ribbon but Not!

WrappATwisted Halter

Scarf of a medium-large size can only be used in this halter wrap.
At the start, wrap the scarf around to the back having the length up to the waist
Then pull both tip of the scarf from the back to the front and lastly tie a knot around the neck! There, a brand new halter to show off!

(for designs above, if larger piece, fold it into half OR if you feel your scarf is transparent, wear a tube)

Drap an appropriate sized scarf around the hips, mark the length to your preference.
Style it by layering it to uneven lengths to create a chic look or a straight cut in the edge would do just fine. Firmly secure the remaining edges with a contemporary brooch.Any visible tip of scarf, fold it in to hide.

Ofcourse not all scarfs are large enough to be made into clothes. Turn a smaller-sized scarf into decorative accessories! These add-ons create a more dynamic, stylish self.

Colour that Tube!

Sick of wearing that boring old coloured tube? Alternatively, style up that tube with vibrant-matching colours! Ain't wrong to always wear the same tube but add liveliness to it by wrapping a small-sized scarf over the tube. Draw the two ends together, tie it, roll it around one the other and slip 'em into each end.
Now it is ready to be flaunt. awesome? basic coloured tubes + scarf = hue apparel.

Just a knot away.

Ran out of headbands and belts? Panic no more! scarf to the rescue!
Neatly twist the scarf into suitable width. Let ends hang loose after tying a knot.
A more common way of wearing it.

Oh lovely ribbons

You don't need a reason to wear scarfs.
Bow it up loosely around the neck or upper-waist, looking stylish for an outing or a vacation.

Above are just a few out of the many ideas how you can wear it.
It could work as shawl for functions or a decorative ribbon for bags or just anything!
Scarfs always work best with basic colours.
So let the beauty of scarfs play it's part ~
